Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Outcrops in a canyon like valley of the Brodec riverlet. The rocks are represented by paragneisses and contain lenses and enclosers of erlan. This erlan passes to crystalline limestone which was formerly exploited. Karst processes formed a cavern in limestone which was explored by speleologists. Great part of this area is covered by scree. The locality is situated in the Park of Blaník Knights.
